The Warren County Mosquito Commission has open positions and is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Assistant Inspector and Seasonal Disease/Labratory Assistant for May-August, Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm. However, beginning and end dates are flexible with school schedules. Ideally, (but not a deal breaker) training would take place during spring break or prior to the official start date. Also, we would love to hire someone to begin in April. Interviews are taking place now.

The positions entail inspecting larval mosquito habitats, setting adult mosquito traps, and responding to resident service requests, all within Warren County, New Jersey. Training for both positions will be provided, which will include obtaining a NJ Pesticide Operator or Applicator license.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license and have an interest in Biological or Environmental Sciences.
